I am a high school senior. I currently play basketball on my high school varsity basketball team. I plan to attend Ball State University and study accounting. My parents didn’t attend college. As first-generation graduates, my older brother and sister are my motivation for wanting to attend college. My brother was the first black male to graduate from the nursing program at Indiana University - Bloomington. My older sister will become the first in our family to earn an advanced degree when she completes her Masters program this summer. I want to follow in their footsteps. My goal is to graduate college with a 4.0 GPA.
