My Core Beliefs: I believe in a world where those that need help, receive it. The barriers to education and greater society should be torn down, and I try to do my part to make the world more accessible. My Goals: I would like to use my degree to create more accessible technology. I've noticed human bias has affected our algorithms, and I would like to help catch mistakes before the technology causes too much harm. My actions: I understand that all of my actions have an impact. Every choice has a hidden cost, and I try my best to mitigate any harm I might cause. I represent my community and those around me, and because of this, I try to make decisions as though everyone is watching me. While most of the pollution and harm in the world is done on a scale that I just cannot stop, my little action of trying to live a low-waste and eco-friendly lifestyle may inspire others to do the little they can as well.
