I’m Lailah Robinson, a recent graduate from Miami Northwestern with a 4.3 GPA, dual-enrollment classes, and a commitment to serving my community. I founded Cerealously Good Inc., a youth-led non-profit organization that supports local families and shelters with breakfast donations. I served as Vice President of NHS, Historian of English Honor Society, SGA, the PAVAC Dance program/infamous GGirl dance line at Miami Northwestern Senior Highschool, and 2nd VP of the National Council of Negro Women Metropolitan Youth Group Section, President of Project H.E.R and more. This all keeps me grounded, focused, and connected. I plan to become a midwife, using my voice, compassion, and leadership to support women and families.

  To increase student and famiy access to affordable, inclusive, high-quality youth development programming. While at the Optimkist Club, I served as a Jr. Mentor for their annual college tour. I was tasked with communication with fellow peers via text/email/social media and serving as a liasion between staff and mentees.

  To expand access, ignite creativity, and cultivate excellence amongst underrepresented youth. While there I choreograph and teaches dynamic routines for performances for age grousps 4- 14. Assists with planning and facilitating daily activities, including team-building exercises, arts and crafts projects, and educational workshops which are designed to engage a wide range of interests and learning styles.

  to lead, advocate for and empower women of African descent, their families, and communities. As a youth member I have participated in Baynanza Cleanup Projects; organizing shoebox toiletries donations for senior citizens at Colonial Assisted Living facility; coordinating toy donations for His House Shelter, which supports children who have experienced human trafficking; volunteering at Jefferson Reaves Women's Shelter, a substance abuse treatment center for women and children; and assisting with "Get Out to Vote" voter registration efforts, where she canvassed the streets of Liberty City, Opa-Locka, and Miami Gardens, registering youth ages 16 and older as well as adults. Additional service includes participation in the Trayvon Martin Peace Walk and Talk Event, feeding efforts atthe Miami Rescue Mission, Goodwill clothing donations, and organizing toiletries for the Miami Bridge Homeless Shelter serving teenage girls and boys. Volunteered with the Miami Diaper Bank, where she assisted in donating over 800 diapers to children in need throughout South Florida. Contributed to Jamaica's hurricane relief project, organizing the donation of over 500 bottles of clean water to a school for young girls.
