My life goals are to be successful and complete all that I set out to be.I want to be the first person in my family to graduate college and start a career in food because I want to be a chef.I think I am a great candidate for this scholarship because I do my best and I want to make my mom proud of me.I really want to go to college so that I can prove to my family that I'm determined and I will complete what I set out to do. My dad always told me be what you want to be and don't let others drag you down no matter what others think of you because the only opinion that really matters is what you think about yourself.I'm a really outgoing person and if I put my mind to something I will get it done.I believe that if I continue to push myself to succeed I will be the first person in my family to graduate high school and I will be the first to go to college.I love to cook it has been a part of me since my mom let me first help her cook when I was 10.Cooking is a very important thing in my house I make most of the family meals when my mom doesn't want to cook.Cooking takes me to another place it helps me escape all the chaos that goes on around me and it makes me feel important because I want to make a difference in the food world.If and when I make through college I will have my own restaurant and will hold some charity events to get money to make free meals for the people who are on the streets and don't have a hot meal to eat.Please consider me for a scholarship because I really want to make a difference in my family.

Nikhil Desai "Favorite Film" Scholarship
I like the movie Bridge to Terabithia because i can relate to it.I can relate to it because the two main characters created an imaginary world that they ruled and im pretty sure most kids have done this.When i was younger i used to pretend to be a queen and my cousins were the peasants.I used to love playing imaginary games but as everyone know you have to grow up and stop playing imaginary games.Anyways its still my favorite movie to watch I've watched at least twenty times
Simple Studies Scholarship
My dream job is to become a head chef and own my own restaurant.I want to this because it has always been a part of me I love cooking for my family and friends.I first decided that I was meant for this job because I cooked with my mom for the first time when I was eleven and I absolutely loved it. This is why i want to get a major in the culinary arts.I also really want to help the needy people on the streets who hardly have food to eat.I know I can accomplish what I'm setting out to do because I am determined and my determination has already got me where I am today and I am so thankful to everyone who has helped me keep my determination up and going to strive to do what I put my mind to.
