My life goal is to raise a beautiful happy family engaged in our local community wherever that may be. To be involved in shaping and organizing the needs that the community may have. To be a resource and guide for those without guidance. I am very passionate about being able to recognize barriers and then find solutions. Disney Channel Rewind Scholarship
If I were to imagine a crossover episode between my two favorite Disney Channel shows, they would be "Lizzie McGuire" and "That's So Raven." These iconic shows have left a lasting impact on audiences with their relatable characters and humorous storylines. Bringing these two worlds together would create an exciting and nostalgic experience for fans of both series.
The crossover episode could be titled "Raven and Lizzie: Double Vision." The plot revolves around Lizzie McGuire and Raven Baxter discovering that they have a unique ability to see into each other's worlds through visions. At first, they are both confused and intrigued by this phenomenon, but they soon realize that their visions hold the key to solving a mystery that threatens both of their worlds.
The episode starts with Lizzie going about her daily life in the familiar setting of her hometown. Meanwhile, Raven is navigating the ups and downs of high school in San Francisco. One day, Lizzie has a vision of Raven's school and classmates, while Raven experiences glimpses of Lizzie's friends and family. Initially, they dismiss these visions as mere coincidences, but as the visions become more frequent and vivid, they realize that something extraordinary is happening.
As Lizzie and Raven confide in their closest friends, Gordo and Chelsea for Lizzie, and Chelsea and Eddie for Raven, they brainstorm ways to make sense of their shared visions. Confused at first Together, they uncover clues that lead them to believe that a mischievous magical creature is responsible for bridging the gap between their worlds.
Determined to solve the mystery and restore order, Lizzie and Raven embark on a daring adventure that takes them on a journey through both worlds. Along the way, they encounter familiar faces, face unexpected challenges, and learn valuable lessons about friendship, courage, and the power of believing in oneself.
Ultimately, Lizzie and Raven must put aside their differences and work together to outsmart the magical creature and prevent it from causing any further chaos. With quick thinking, creativity, and a little bit of luck, they manage to outwit the creature and restore balance to their worlds.
As the episode comes to a close, Lizzie and Raven bid farewell to each other, knowing that they will always share a special connection. While they may come from different worlds, their friendship transcends boundaries and proves that anything is possible when you believe in yourself and the power of friendship.

Zendaya is undeniably a multi-talented individual, excelling in various facets of the entertainment industry and beyond. While each aspect of her career is commendable, the aspect that I admire the most is her activism.

She uses her platform and influence to advocate for important social issues, particularly those related to racial justice, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ rights. Through her advocacy work, Zendaya amplifies marginalized voices, raises awareness about systemic injustices, and promotes meaningful change in society.
One of the reasons why I admire Zendaya's activism is her authenticity and sincerity. She doesn't shy away from addressing controversial topics or speaking her mind, even when faced with criticism or backlash. Zendaya's willingness to use her platform for good, despite the potential risks, demonstrates her unwavering dedication to making a difference in the world.
Moreover, Zendaya's activism extends beyond just raising awareness; she takes tangible action to support the causes she believes in. Carole Willis Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship
As a member of society, I recognize the importance of addressing social issues, particularly within the criminal justice system. One of the key areas I am passionate about is advocating for criminal justice reform. Through various avenues, I am actively working to address this critical social issue and make a difference in the system.
One way I am contributing to this cause is through education and awareness. By staying informed about the challenges and inequities present in the criminal justice system, I am able to engage in meaningful conversations with others and raise awareness about the need for reform. This includes discussing topics such as mass incarceration, racial disparities in sentencing, and the impact of punitive measures on marginalized communities. By fostering dialogue and promoting understanding, I aim to inspire others to join the movement for change.
Furthermore, I am committed to supporting organizations and initiatives that advocate for criminal justice reform. This includes volunteering my time, donating resources, and participating in advocacy campaigns aimed at promoting fairness, equity, and accountability within the system. Whether it's supporting bail funds for low-income individuals, advocating for the rights of incarcerated individuals, or working to end the school-to-prison pipeline, I strive to contribute to positive change through collective action.
In addition to grassroots efforts, I am also exploring avenues for systemic change within the criminal justice system. This includes advocating for policy reforms at the local, state, and federal levels. By engaging with policymakers, lawmakers, and community leaders, I am working to promote legislation and policies that prioritize rehabilitation, reduce recidivism, and address systemic injustices. This may involve supporting initiatives such as restorative justice programs, diversion programs for nonviolent offenders, and efforts to eliminate mandatory minimum sentences.
Moreover, I recognize the importance of amplifying the voices of those directly impacted by the criminal justice system. By centering the experiences and perspectives of individuals who have been incarcerated, as well as their families and communities, I aim to elevate their stories and advocate for their rights. This includes supporting initiatives led by formerly incarcerated individuals, participating in community organizing efforts, and amplifying their voices through storytelling and advocacy.
In the long term, my goal is to contribute to a more just and equitable criminal justice system that prioritizes rehabilitation, promotes accountability, and addresses the root causes of crime. By working collaboratively with others and leveraging my skills, resources, and privilege, I am committed to making a difference in the lives of those impacted by the criminal justice system. Whether it's through education, advocacy, or direct action, I believe that together, we can create positive change and build a more just society for all.
Alexander Hipple Recovery Scholarship
Living with a brother who is a heroin addict is mentally and physically draining. My mother remarried my father when my half-brother was 12 years old. His name is David and as long as I can remember he has been in and out of trouble. My earliest recollections of David's drug problems came when I was 11 years old. I can specifically remember the phone ringing in the middle of the night and my mother asking David, "Where are you, are you okay"? I knew something was wrong by the tone of my mother's voice. She had to leave me and my older sister, who was 14, at home that night to go get David from Jail. My father was at work that night and not very happy to learn how mom had left us at home alone. Over the years David would go through spells of anywhere from 6 months to a year without using. Things would be great again. David would be around more and at all the family get-togethers. He might even make it to one of my or my sister's ball games. But it never lasted too long. It seemed like everything was going good then David was gone again. My sister would later share with me that David had started using again. My parents would also start arguing over the matter. Mom was trying to help him in any way but all David was doing was making up stories to tell Mom so she would send him money. Dad knew what was going on and it just caused more strife in our house. Once David stole Mom's checkbook and wrote checks totaling in the thousands. He also stole my sister's iPad and Mom had to go buy it back from the drug dealer. Not to mention the tools and machinery he stole from my dad's shop. He also broke into my grandmother's and grandfather's house and stole their safe. It has been the same cycle year after year creating financial hardship for my parents. Three years ago his then-girlfriend had his only child. She's an alcoholic and of course, David started using again when the baby was about 6 months old. Social Services got involved and the baby was removed from the home. The baby, Haisley, was then placed temporarily with my half-sister who now 3 years later has permanent custody. What a tragedy. David is missing out on all the special occasions of his daughter's life. Fortunately, Jessica, my half-sister was able to take in Haisley and provide her with a warm and loving home. My dad has forbade David from ever coming to our house again. It's so disappointing to think of all that has been lost due to his heroin addiction. It's not just the user who pays the price, it's the whole family. Something that I wish no one ever has to go through. I am currently majoring in social work/sociology. I am hoping to be in a position where I can help families one day who are struggling with the same situation that has affected my family.
