I am a non-traditional student with the audacity to continue a journey that began 20 years ago. I made the decision to focus on raising my daughters but never let my desire to earn a college education fade away. Over the years, I worked my way up in corporate America, navigated various facets of real estate, and even stepped away from it all to care for my daughter diagnosed with special needs. But now… my time has come! I am excited to go on this journey. This endeavor is about more than just personal achievement. My goals include giving back to those from similar backgrounds and being a visible example that success is possible with the right support. Alongside my entrepreneurial ambitions, I plan to establish a nonprofit that provides training, coaching, and mentorship in business and entrepreneurship. This organization will focus on aged-out foster kids and women re-entering society after incarceration. My journey is a testament to resilience and determination, and I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams regardless of the obstacles they face.
