My goal in life is to be a cardio thoracic surgeon, I have always know that I wanted to work in a hospital, I just didn't know exactly what I wanted to do. Recently, I took it upon myself to research and see what jobs interested me, and then I seen it, cardio thoracic surgery. It stood out to me and ever since then I have wanted nothing less. I have become very ambitious and I really think I can reach this goal. However college is quite expensive especially to get a PhD, which is why I think I am a perfect candidate for a scholarship.

Fall Favs: A Starbucks Stan Scholarship
Every year I wait and wait for the end of August to arrive, not because of the colder weather, but because of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. Each year the latte seems to come out in the first week of September, or the last week of August, and I am always on the edge of my seat waiting for it.
If you take a scroll through my camera roll, each year at this time, you will find a photo of me enjoying a nice Pumpkin Spice Latte, with almond milk, light ice, and sweet cream cold foam. This drink has truly become a yearly ritual for me and in turn for my family. In fact, this year my mom sent me to Starbucks on August 24th, right after school, just so that I could pick up four Pumpkin Spice Lattes for each member of my family, my dog even got a pup cup. Furthermore, throughout the fall season, you will see me at school each Friday with a Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte. I call it my "little Friday treat," and it is so worth it to me, I would even say it is an incentive to get through the week.
This whole tradition started back when I was in seventh grade, yes I was absolutely getting lattes and all kinds of Starbucks in seventh grade. Back then it was a little less consistent, but I still enjoyed my yearly Pumpkin Spice Latte, things have changed a little since then, as I used to get it hot. Another thing that has changed in this tradition are the photos, my photos from eleventh and twelfth grade are slightly less embarrassing! Despite this, it is kind of fun to look back on all these photos and see how I have grown over the past five years.
Lastly, though fall drinks are very important to my family, Starbucks as a whole is a huge deal in my house. I can remember back to when I was only four years old. Each day that my mom took me to the babysitter before work, she would always stop at Starbucks and get me a tall hot chocolate. At this age my mom would always get herself an iced Carmel Macchiato. My mom even took my family and I to the world's first Starbucks all the way in Seattle.
In conclusion, Starbucks has always played a role in my life, from hot chocolate, to lattes, and even to macchiatos, I have always loved Starbucks.
