My aspiration is not just to be a proficient coder but to work up to the highest levels of expertise and do it as a woman in a male-dominated field, shaping the future through cutting-edge software development. In pursuit of this objective, I am diligently honing my programming skills, learning the language of Java in my AP Computer Science A class. I am actively engaged in all projects in said class, learning new ways to code small games, make pictures, and solve problems. Though these are small steps in a career in coding, they are building the foundation for my future in the field where I can learn even more with this understanding of key concepts. Beyond the realms of computer science, I harbor a diverse set of goals that reflect my multifaceted personality and aspirations. One such non-computer science goal is to become well-versed in criminal justice, which would allow me to work with and for the US government. Thus, I am actively participating in criminal justice classes and keeping up to date with all of the local, national, and global current happenings. Furthermore, my non-computer science goals extend to fostering a deep understanding of the intersection between technology and our society.
