I'm heading to grad school in the fall for a Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington in Seattle. This is a bit of a career change for me-I had a job as a biomedical engineer before this for almost three years and that was my major in undergrad. During COVID, I had some time to think about what really mattered to me, and I realized that sustainability and working with the environment was what I'd wanted to do this whole time. I'm excited to learn about this field and go forward. I'm currently volunteering full time for Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, a non-profit I've been involved with since childhood. I'm currently based out of the Pacific Northwest helping local chapters reach out to the community and spread awareness about Hindu culture.
