My name is Kaitlyn Powell and I am 22 years old. I am extremely excited to begin my journey to become a nurse at California State University - San Marcos. I have graduated from UCSD with a degree in Human Biology and am now pursuing an ABSN degree in order to further my education to work as a nurse. Besides working towards my education goals, I have also have an extreme interest in dancing. I have had the opportunity to compete in dancing both at a studio level and at a collegiate level. Additionally, I currently work as a nanny and as a part time office manager for my family's business. Balancing extracurricular activities, work schedules, and my education has been a learning curve, but I feel that it has allowed me to acquire a strong work ethic and time management skills.
