I am a dual citizen of Togo and the United States with a strong commitment to public service and community impact. I served as a police officer in Togo for nine years, where I developed discipline, leadership, and a deep sense of responsibility to protect and serve others. This helped to create my passion for community service to strengthen our communities.
In 2016, I immigrated to the United States in pursuit of greater opportunities and to build a better future for my family. I currently serve as a correctional officer with the Illinois Department of Corrections, where I continue my dedication to public safety and work within a system that plays a vital role in shaping individuals and communities.
As a father of one son, with another child on the way, my greatest motivation is to create a life rooted in opportunity, equality, and stability. My journey reflects resilience, hard work, and a commitment to leading by example, with the goal of inspiring my children and others to pursue their dreams regardless of obstacles.
