My dream is to work with cancer patients. When I was 13, my papa (grandpa) was diagnosed with lung cancer, and we lost him when I was 18. While helping him through chemo and radiation, I had decided I wanted my life's work to be dedicated to cancer patients. I feel like I can bring a perspective of caring and understanding that most do not have due to my experience. With the scholarships I receive, they will greatly strengthen my ability to attain my life's dreams.
