Hospitality has always been more than a career for me, it is a calling. From the very first event I coordinated to the hundreds I have managed since, I have witnessed the power of bringing people together. A well-executed event is not simply about food, flowers, or logistics. It is about creating a moment that matters, one that leaves people feeling seen, celebrated, and connected. That is the heart of hospitality, and it is what drives everything I do. As I pursue my MBA in Event Leadership, I am focused on growing beyond the operational side of the industry and into a space where I can create meaningful change at a larger scale. I envision using my passion for hospitality to build more inclusive, opportunity-driven spaces within the events and catering industry, starting with the people who often go unseen: the staff, the vendors, and the behind-the-scenes professionals who make every event possible. One of my deepest goals is to mentor and support women working their way up in this industry, particularly those navigating it without the networks or resources others take for granted. I want to bring that same spirit of empowerment into hospitality by creating pathways for women to step into leadership roles they may not have seen as possible for themselves. I also believe hospitality has a unique power to drive community impact. When managed with intentionality, events can raise funds for important causes, amplify the voices of organizations doing meaningful work, and create platforms for connection that ripple far beyond the event itself. I want to use my expertise to partner with nonprofits and community groups to produce events that do more than entertain, events that inspire and activate change. On a broader level, I am passionate about elevating the events industry as a whole. Hospitality is often underestimated, yet it requires an extraordinary blend of leadership, creativity, financial management, and human connection. Through my MBA, I hope to advocate for stronger business practices, fair compensation, and greater recognition for the professionals who power this industry. Ultimately, my vision is simple: to use every event, every client relationship, and every leadership opportunity as a chance to leave things better than I found them, whether that means a client who feels truly heard, a team member who feels genuinely valued, or a community that feels more connected. That is the impact I am working toward, one experience at a time.
