Bio

I am an easy-going young man who loves looking at stones. This is my passion for gemstones and minerals; they have always fascinated me. I look forward to joining the world of gemology. What is a gemologist? Someone who studies and knows the chemical makeup and geological history of precious stones and minerals. I am the son of a retired US Coast Guardsman whose devotion to hard work done correctly has been stilled in me all my life. I am a flexible person who can go wherever I am needed. I look forward to learning my passion and making this dream a reality.

I think it's essential to work for what you need. Don't rely on handouts from other people; make your way. If you need to work extra hours to get what you need, that's what needs to be done; find a job that helps you get what you need. I learned from my parents and older siblings that it takes hard work to get far in this world, and loyalty, is essential to work smarter, not harder. Finding that one job that keeps you coming back to work every day is remarkable. Strong work ethics and job skills are essential to me and keep me moving forward. To always work hard and be flexible; always be available to your boss to help where needed. If you are asked to help, always step in to do what you can. Be flexible. It is important to be an essential worker, put yourself out there, and be afraid of change. It

I enjoy the series DaVinci Code by Dan Brown; it just draws you in makes you a part of the adventure.   I find the abilities of the main character Robert Langdon to be so interesting. Is it real or just the genius of a capable author. As Robert and Sophia follow the clues, they encounter people who appear to be on their side and want to help them,  come to find out this is not the case.     These stories have a way of drawing you in and making you a part of this adventure, this treasure hunt. I know they are stories but are there some trues behind them? How does the author create such a believable storyline? Is based on family history or a story he heard as a child? I think of these things when I read adventure mysteries like these; they have some factual trues, like The Last Supper and other religions' points of interest.  And what about the people trying to get all the glory that comes with this treasure. The disciple of GOD who will do nothing to get into heaven.  The man who calls himself a friend, this man what all the answers, Langdon went to his friend for haven only to have him betray him in the end.   Overall these are great stories that you won't want to put down.  I know you would enjoy this story series by Dan Brown and his many other stories. I am currently reading The Lost Symbol; it is a prequel to the DaVinci Code; so far, it's a winner.

The elderly are the glue that holds our families together, so why would we treat them like an old newspaper, throw them aside. We don't take advantage of their wisdom and experience. We need to show them the appreciation and respect they deserve. I feel sad and embarrassed for how some people treat our older generation; the disrespect is shameful. Other countries treat their elderly like kings and queens; they are full of wisdom and knowledge. Take the time to talk with your elderly; they have so much to add to everyday life. -We need to learn from them and let them know what they have to say is worth hearing. -We need to stop throwing our elderly into old folks' homes; we need to care for them ourselves. -We need to recreate caring for them, keep them home with us, and let them LIVE. They need to be part of the family, let them help with cooking and the kids or even some household chores. If they still have good functions, then maybe they could live with a roommate and a caregiver for the two of them. Instead of treating them like children, it is all about respect. Treat them like the knowledgeable adult they are. I understand some elderly need medical care, but there has got to be an acceptable solution.

I live in Alabama on 9 acres, and we have many animals, chickens, sheep, and snakes. But I am attaching pictures of my cat friends and dog friends. They are my friends because they listen when I don't ask them to, they snuggle when I don't feel good, and they love me no matter what. Shadow in his sweatshirt is just chilling. This is Snowball; she is our angel kitty; she had a seizure one day and died. Moose and Bear are not sharing, Bear being a pillow for Alyeska and Maxx. I would have to say my favorite piece of art is, La Maire'e by Marc Chagall (1912). I imagine this for the woman in the painting; she is scared of her new use because she had heard stories of a nun who had died in their house. I look at this painting; I can feel the movement. I love the flow it possesses and the beautiful colors, and the bride is so beautiful, and you came to see how her love for her new husband floats around her. She has a passion for many things, playing the cello, God, and music. Her husband has many goats and a pond with fish. This is what I imagine for her. I love how the colors are so vibrant and stand out. You can feel the love, yet I think sadness can take over the imagination if you let it. I like that this painting can be interpreted in so many different ways; that is what makes are so fascinating and heartfelt.
