My name is Knyla Harris, and I attend the illustrious Fisk University. I aspire to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Biology to complete my Pre-Med qualifications. After undergraduate school, I plan to transfer to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to become a Doctor of Medicine. My ultimate goal is to become an anesthesiologist, primarily serving small children. Growing up, I have always had a big heart for children. This scholarship would help me continue my education and potentially help thousands of small children in the future. That is why I believe I should receive this scholarship. Throughout my high school career, I have worked hard to earn several achievements. I am currently an active member of the following clubs: DECA, BETA, and Spanish. I serve as the BETA secretary and an officer for the Spanish club. I have earned awards and honors for the following societies: National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, African American Academic All-Stars, Honor Roll, and Presidential Award.
