As a first-generation college graduate, earning my degree in Communications and Media Studies was a milestone that reflected years of hard work, perseverance, and sacrifice. Now, I'm pursuing graduate school to continue building a career in sports broadcasting. For more than two years, I've served the Clayton State University athletic community by helping cover collegiate sports through writing, media, photography, and game-day coverage. I've had the opportunity to tell the stories of student-athletes and create content that connects teams with their community. Beyond sports, I'm passionate about pouring into the next generation. Through my YouTube channel, I share motivation, life lessons, and "big sister" advice to encourage young people and remind them they always have someone in their corner. I believe using my voice to uplift others is just as important as telling stories through sports. As a first-generation student, pursuing a graduate degree comes with financial challenges. Receiving this scholarship would help ease the burden of tuition and educational expenses, allowing me to focus on my education, gain valuable experience, and continue serving others while pursuing the career I've worked so hard to achieve.
