I am a student from Renovo, Pennsylvania with a passion for all things learning and involving kids. I plan on majoring in Early Childhood Education and a minor in dance. In high school, I am a varsity cheerleader and Secretary of the art club Some of my other passions are singing, photography, and writing. I feel I am a good candidate for many scholarships as I am very determined in furthering my education, I believe I will be a very successful student in college. I am excited to move on to college as that will be the next chapter of my life, and start a whole new Journey.

The song that has the most important message to me would have to be Who You Are by Jessie J. The song is about staying true to yourself and who you are. I feel sometimes people including myself tend to act like someone we aren't in order to be approved and accepted by others. One part of the song says "Don't lose who you, in a blur of stars" indicating that sometimes we may change ourselves to fit in with most of this society's unrealistic standards of the meaning of beautiful. I relate to this song and the message it is trying to send to everyone but especially younger people in this world. I would listen to this song when getting around for school or going out with friends to remind myself that I don't need makeup to be beautiful; I don't need tight clothes or to be super skinny. This song helped me realize who I am, ever since I found myself I haven't let society take that away from me. That is why this song has the most important message to me.
