My name is Kevin Pavel Juarez Navarro, I grew up in Honduras, at the age of 14, I began my journey as a musician by enrolling at the National School of Music in Honduras. My connection with music intensified along the years. When finishing high school, I decided I wanted to study abroad and discover a whole new world of opportunities to learn and grow as a person.
My goal as a musician is to give other people the opportunities I was given and make them realize the potential they have and how they can impact the world and especially, Honduras, where I want to teach and work and become the first pianist with a Doctoral Degree in Music Performance.

Since I was a kid, music always influenced my perspective of the world. Thanks to that exposure to music I found what my passions are and so I decided to persue a career as a musician.
At the age of 14, I decided to enroll to The National School of Music in Honduras, ever since I have dedicated most of my days to playing piano. As a student there my teacher taught me the fundamentals of piano playing, during my years at school I worked part time jobs to pay for my education since the resources my family had where limited.
On 2019, Dr. Pifer, head of the piano area at Valdosta State University, gave a master class where he showed interest in my piano playing and offered me studying at Valdosta State University once I graduated from High School.
On 2020 I graduated and started the process to study abroad. As a student at Valdosta State University, I have played at multiple recitals and concerts, including fundraising concerts for organizations dedicated to help people in need. This also included piano competitions as the "Georgia's Music Teacher Association Audition" where I got the award of "Outstanding Performance and Second Alternative for Conference Recitalist."
Music made an impact on my life and I am sure it can change others the same way. By studying abroad I am creating a path other people can follow and showing them what musicians in Honduras are capable of doing.
My goal as a Musician is to expose people to music, teach music to people who are eager to learn and show how important art is for society. This also extends to helping other students giving them the opportunities I had while studying and inspire them to follow their passions and dreams. And most imortant, make Honduras' Culture grow by performing our music to the world.
