I am a registered nurse with a passion for both the science and the heart of healthcare. I currently work full time as a circulator and relief charge nurse in the cardiovascular operating room, where I care for some of the most critically ill patients in the hospital. My clinical journey began in neurological and telemetry nursing, and each role has deepened my commitment to patient safety, excellence in practice, and the nurses who make it all possible. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Nursing Leadership with the goal of becoming a transformative nurse leader — one who advocates fiercely for patients and empowers the nurses who serve them.
Outside of the hospital and the classroom, my greatest joy is being a mom. My son is my motivation and my anchor. I am actively involved in his world — cheering him on at band performances, supporting him through the discipline and growth that taekwondo demands, and showing up for every school event I can. On the rare occasion I get a quiet moment for myself, you'll find me on a hiking trail or lost in a good book — two things that help me reset and stay grounded in the middle of a full and demanding life.
I believe that the best leaders are shaped not just by their professional experiences, but by the full life they live outside of work. Every role I hold — nurse, student, and mom — makes me more empathetic, more resilient, and more determined to lead with purpose. I am grateful for every opportunity that brings me closer to the leader I am working to become.
