My goal in life is to become an anesthesiologist and mentor others along the way. I plan to major in Chemistry and minor in Biology. Currently, I’m fortunate to be guided by a mentor who is an anesthesiologist, her commitment to passing on her knowledge has inspired me to do the same. I believe education is essential, and I’m passionate about mentoring not only my nieces and nephews, but also younger students, starting as early as grade school. Helping others is at the core of who I am, which is why volunteering is so important to me. I come from a large, close-knit family that believes in giving back. My parents have always taught me through their actions. to be kind, respectful, and involved in our community. In my free time, I love watching sports with my dad (especially when we’re rooting for rival teams), visiting the Museum of Science and Industry, listening to music, and spending quality time with my mom, working on puzzles and sharing long conversations. Softball has been a major part of my life through years of travel ball and high school involvement. I currently volunteer with my school team, helping incoming freshmen feel welcome by hosting softball days that build connection and ease the transition into high school. In my household, the phrase “I can’t” doesn’t exist. I’ve always envisioned success, no matter the odds. Life has taught me that challenges are inevitable, but with the right mindset, you can always make the most of them. My ultimate goal is to keep learning, keep growing, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
