One of the most defining times in my life was when I lost my dad due to cancer. Even though weren't living together, I was with him throughout as his health decline d worsened. I witnessed a human being with his imperfections, and yet this great man dwindle away to where he wouldn't even recognize me. I sat beside him until his very last breath, and it's something that has remained with me ever since. What it taught me was just how fragile life is, how quickly your life can change, and how much finding strength is needed even in the worst times.
My life has not been easy since his death. I am from a single-parent household with a dominating mother, and I never receive any sort of reprieve. The emotional burden of losing my father is still weighing heavily on my heart, but I haven't even had room or time to fully mourn. Instead, I've had to constantly continue every single day. I'm working full-time, attending school full-time, and continue to give my everything even though the world seems to be demanding more than I am able to give. But despite all this, I've been able to thrive academically and stay focused on my dreams.
Through all this, my experiences have influenced me to become the person that I am today and shaped the future that I want to pursue. My past has encouraged me to become a business and entrepreneurship professional. I want to build something of my own a beauty salon that represents my strength, creativity, and determination. That girls can come and feel comfortable enough to be themselves, and most beautiful a Female Barbershop. Having limited money during my childhood, I understand how vital it is to be financially independent and secure. I'd love to create opportunities not only for myself but also for others who had a similar background. I would want to be the living example that your circumstances in life do not dictate what you can do your determination does.
My dad's death and the agony associatedwith it, however, taught me patience, strength, and confidence in myself. His memory remains in my mind every single day and motivates me to lead a life that is worthy of his name. College is my ticket out. It is where gain an education, skills, and links that will prepare me to turn my anguish into something positive and my ambitions into a reality.
