Bio

I want to become a chiropractor to help people the way they helped me. My name is Kenna. I was a very sick child for 15 years. Ear infections, nausea, constipation, sick all the time, on so many antibiotics at once. No quality of life a child should have. Two years ago I found a neurologically based chiropractor and they changed my life. Never did I give up once and my scans showed that because of that I was able to be the fastest healing patient that office had in 13 years. Now about to begin my senior year of high school I will go on to becoming a chiropractor myself. No child or anyone should be sick as much as I was. Little kids should be playing outside and enjoying life, not stuck in hospitals and so sick. I can’t wait to be the difference to someone that makes them have a life again. God is so great and I cant wait to keep pushing on in life.

I am going to become a chiropractor. I was a very sick child until I was 15 and finally got the answers I was looking for. When I was little I would constantly have ear infections, gut issues, nauseous everyday for 8 years, always spraining or injuring myself and just not ever healthy. We never could figure out what was wrong with me and why I was also so sick until we found a neurological chiropractor. I never knew what the answer would be but I always knew I would find it. My nervous system was not regulated at all and that was what was causing so many problems for me. I currently am three years into chiropractic care and my life has been forever changed. I do not have any of the issues that I mentioned. I am healthy and thriving. While there are some things I am still working on to set myself up for long term health, my life truly has done a 180 in the last three years. In the fall I will be majoring in biology and then flipping over to the Doctor of Chiropractic program. I am so excited to be in school and learn all about the body and how it works. I can't wait for the day when I am a chiropractor and be able to give little kids a healthy childhood that I never had. I want to be the impact for them and to realign their bodies exactly how they were intended to be made. Strictly chiropractic care isn't the only thing that has gotten me healthy but it is the biggest factor. Walking everyday, lifting weights, eating very clean, cycle syncing and overall taking care of myself is what has helped me heal even further. I am consist with the things I do and take my health very seriously. Now being 18 and really only having the last 3 years of being well, having my health is something I will never take for granted. I want to be a pediatric and prenatal chiropractor to be able to help kids be healthy from the very beginning. Helping moms feel their best during pregnancy and delivery is so important to me. When you are a kid and playing outside, the sweet innocence and having fun is what it is all about. Kids are the best gift to us and they are who I want to make an impact on the most. After 15 years I had finally found my answer and now I want to be the answer for other families.

Mental health is sometimes more important than physical health. If we aren’t good mentally then that throws everything off. However when we face these challenges we learn how to deal with them. We get empathy for other people as well. We feel things for each other that bring us closer without any words need to be said. The empathy we have for others can bring us closer and strengthen relationships with other people. Without this we can’t truly understand people, at the end of the day all people want to be understood. Struggling with my health personally for so many years and now coming out on the other side I have so many opportunities now. I work and get to serve God and the community everyday working at a chiropractic office. It is such a beautiful thing to come together as people in a time of such doubt we are experiencing. Serving people and being happy is absolutely priceless. This is something I never would have been able to do if I didn’t understand mental health challenged that bonds us as human beings. Humans are beautiful when they come together and I get to be apart of this every single day.
