Bio

I have always been passionate about art, constantly wanting to create something. My future goals would include finding ways to incorporate design or restoration to everyday life, whether it's rehabilitating historical sites, working on projects within theatre, or just managing a like-minded team. I would love to work in areas where it's one big community, helping for the greater good of the people. I hope to positively impact the world, even if it's one small step at a time.

Playing upon classical idealism with a pastoral backdrop is The New Bracelet (1883) by Henryk Siemiradzki. The tones of the painting are soft, with a pegasus statue and a greek urn, it embodies the unique aspects of the mediterranean coast. The landscape flows into the two figures, with an abundance of lilacs, rocks and plants. Upon first glance it embodies what it feels to be content and serene. A glance of seemingly two young lovers, one leaning on the other. The realism makes these women feel soft, vulnerable, and inviting. However, for most of its existence, this painting was hidden only coming back into view of the public decades later. Nonetheless this piece of art reflects the brilliance of classicism, bringing back alive ancient civilizations. Freely portraying two women in a tangible reality. This is my favorite work of art for the reasons stated above. It makes me feel hopeful and seen as a woman, and that this Earth is beautiful and should be treated as such.

Well, it's pride month and it just feels right because I think women are awesome (coming from a woman). I really want to meet a lumberjack! I love the smell of lumber and they compete in competitions to climb a tree or chop some wood. I want to learn the wood, know the wood, I am the wood. I usually run into things like poles or a parked car so this is a work in progress...

Our planet decays a little more each day, and the simple pleasures people find on the same planet have become more and more dull. Communities are falling apart in the process, and making a difference has seemingly never felt so challenging. Amongst all the cynical viewpoints, there is a way to make a change. I am determined to make a positive impact on the world. I have found that the most connecting factor between humans has simply been art (music, drawings, plays, architecture, etc.). No matter the response it always tends to evoke something big in people. Whether I end up revitalizing historical buildings to give back to more forgotten towns or cities, or even being responsible for a life changing theatre production, I will strive to bring people together to give a voice to the "decaying" parts of the world. In alignment with bringing people together, I would hope to incorporate different organizations to work hand in hand to raise the necessary funds to give back to the people. I want there to be a space filled with diversity, love, and acceptance. My passion with art (either in drawings, theatre, architecture, or preservation) will hopefully be felt, or at least seen. My career to me feels endless in the way where I can do multiple things, with no stopping point in how far I can push not just my limits, but the people around me. I want a career where everyone can be like-minded, voicing opinions freely, but always coming to the conclusion that fits best for the needs of others. I want to bring back beauty, and in the process sparing our own environment. Though ambitious, I know there are many people out there who want to incorporate art into society again, to do more than just entertainment. I want it to be practical, loved, and shared. I want the influence that art has had on people for tens and thousands of years to be revitalized once more. My absolute favorite aspect of art is how other kinds of careers or interests correlate with one another. Art for me is all about embracing what we already have, people, buildings, movies, math, science, etc. People have already begun the process of healing our planet, but I fully believe I have the ability to push that boundary even further and find a career where I can heal a broken world.
