Hi There!
My name is Kemberly Denerville, and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Connecticut! I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences, along with a minor in Linguistics.
I currently work as an Assistant program director for English Language learners through the office of Community Outreach at UConn. This work is a continuation of my involvement with English learners in my community. Prior to this position, I volunteered as an Adult ESL Teacher Assistant and worked as an ESL Intern at the Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants.
You can find me outside of this work reading historical fiction, brushing up on my French language skills, and teaching myself Portuguese.
My long-term career goal is to be an English Literature/World Literature educator at the secondary education level and to work part-time as an ESL adult educator in my community. I hope to become a leader in global education and serve as an administrator at a dual-language school in the United States or at a U.S. international school abroad.
Thank you for visiting!
