Hi There!
My name is Kemberly Denerville, and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Connecticut! I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences, along with a minor in Linguistics.
I currently work as an Assistant program director for English Language learners through the office of Community Outreach at UConn. This work is a continuation of my involvement with English learners in my community. Prior to this position, I volunteered as an Adult ESL Teacher Assistant and worked as an ESL Intern at the Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants.
You can find me outside of this work reading historical fiction, brushing up on my French language skills, and teaching myself Portuguese.
My long-term career goal is to be an English Literature/ World Literature educator at the secondary education level and also work part-time as an ESL teacher in my community. I hope to become a global education leader and be an administrator at an international school. I would ideally like to exercise this role in Haiti.
Thank you for visiting!
