In a world filled with screens and noise, there's something special about escaping to the great outdoors. For me, nothing beats the simple pleasure of taking hikes and nature walks. Living on a farm has allowed me to be surrounded by nature at any given opportunity, and I am endlessly grateful for this ability. From the moment I step outside, surrounded by towering trees, and wildlife, I feel a sense of peace wash over me. It's like all my worries melt away, and I can just be present in the moment. One of the best parts of being outdoors is encountering animals along the way. Whether it's spotting deer grazing in the distance or marveling at the intricate web spun by a spider, each encounter fills me with wonder and awe. Living in Oldham County, specifically Crestwood, has given me countless opportunities to connect with nature and the wildlife that calls this place home. At home, I have two horses, thirty chickens, and a dog so whenever I’m having a bad day, I find solace in my animals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when everything felt uncertain and overwhelming, I found purpose in nature. I saw how isolation affected my community, especially the kids. So, I decided to do something about it. Using my horses and any materials I had available, I launched my own horseback riding lesson business in Crestwood, giving local children a safe and fun way to connect with nature and animals during a tough time. It wasn't easy starting a business, especially at fourteen, but seeing the smiles on the kids' faces made it all worth it. I had ridden since I was three years old and it was something that always brought me great joy, and being able to share that with children in my community was such a gift. Through my business, I not only shared my love for horses and the outdoors but also brought joy and laughter to my community. Now, as I look to the future, I'm excited to continue growing my business and making a positive impact on those around me. Living in Oldham County has given me a special connection to the people in my community, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for nature and animals with them for years to come. Whether it’s through hiking, horseback riding, or simply stepping outside, I know that my love for nature will continue to inspire and guide me.

Ever since I can remember, theater has been my escape, my joy, and my passion. From the moment I watched my first live performance, I was captivated by the magic of the stage. The lights, costumes, and most of all, the performers, ignited a spark within me that has only grown stronger over the years. One of the most significant aspects of my love for theater is the friendships it has brought into my life. From the very beginning, I found myself surrounded by like-minded individuals who shared my enthusiasm for the stage. Through countless rehearsals, late-night brainstorming sessions, and adrenaline-filled performances, I forged bonds that have lasted a lifetime. These friendships have become my support system, my confidants, and my source of inspiration. Despite my unwavering passion for theater, there was a time when I hesitated to pursue it as a career. The competitive nature of the industry seemed daunting, and the fear of rejection loomed large in my mind. I worried that I wouldn't be good enough or that I wouldn't be able to make a living doing what I loved. However, as I continued to immerse myself in the world of theater, I realized that my love for the craft outweighed any doubts or fears. Through theater, I discovered the power of storytelling and the profound impact it can have on both the audience and the performers. I found solace in the ability to inhabit different characters, explore complex emotions, and connect with people on a deeper level. Theater became more than just a hobby; it became my calling, my purpose, and my reason for being. Today, I am more determined than ever to pursue a career in theater. I know that the road ahead will be challenging, filled with auditions, rejections, and uncertainty. But I also know that I am willing to put in the hard work, dedication, and perseverance required to succeed in this competitive industry. With the support of my friends, my mentors, and my own unwavering passion, I am confident that I can overcome any obstacle that stands in my way. In conclusion, my passion for theater is not just a fleeting interest or a passing phase; it is the driving force behind everything I do. From the friendships I've formed to the lessons I've learned, theater has shaped me into the person I am today. And I hope that one day I can inspire others to perform in the same way I was.
