I´ve always loved creating different designs. For jewelry, clothes, bags, and shoes. I try to design as much as I can. I love the way fashion can bring out people's personalities and creativity of their own. When I was younger I also shied away from fashion and different girly things because I didn´t want to be labeled as a ¨mean girl.¨ I struggled with the mean girls growing up, they would call me names and tell me their opinions on what I was wearing. Yet as I grow older I now understand that fashion and the way people looked were never their problems. In fact, I would like to believe that the hate people use to give me now inspires me. The backlash was something that I find very helpful. I figure people don´t like to watch others succeed when they aren´t doing too good. they think they have power over others and they use it as they wish. I now work as much as I can, as well as babysitting, I am involved in about 7 different clubs at my school, and I sell my designs as well as my handmade jewelry through my small business in the makings. I love being busy, when I´m not busy at work I´m making myself busy. Thinking of new designs is fun when I watch people who are all dressed up and ready to party. I take inspiration from their outfits. Furthermore, I´m happy to say that I just applied for a spot at my local Sea Fest, which is a big deal in my hometown. Thousands of people come to shop and walk around. Which I think is another thing that inspires me. Having had gone to downtown areas all my life seeing little pop-up shops and wishing I had enough to buy something then returning home and drawing it to fit me better. I always had a very expensive taste, now my mom takes me to the high-end stores to wind shop and get inspiration for my next design. My mom and I have a joke for ¨when I run my own empire¨ how many clothes and jewelry the two of us will have. I hope that getting a future education in different designs, cultures, arts and so much more will very helpful for my future. I hope to create my own future and become my own boss.
