Bio
Becoming a nurse has been my dream for a long time.
At age 15 I've been volunteering my time at hospitals, nursing homes, and private residents as a sitter, performed CNA and nursing abilities for the temporary to permanently disabled patients of all ages (mostly the elderly).
Due to long unexpected health crisis in my family, I couldn't pursue my goal after graduating High School in 2013.
So here I am 9 years later, trying for the fourth time to fulfill my dream to work on the professional side of the medical field.

As a missionary for True Spirit of God Church and from my perspective you get to see both sides of the coin. You see patients in distress about their illnesses, then you see the nurses caring for them bearing the patients and their families' burdens of questions and concerns while keeping a calm spirit. That's a hero!
My mom told me when I was two years old, she would take me to the grocery store, and every time we reached the meat department I would break down crying: "Put a band-aid on them!" I wanted to heal what I thought was hurting. Whenever I had a doctor's appointment I would repeat whatever the doctor performed on me. On one of the visits, my doctor said to my mom: "She's going to be something great in the medical field". Years up the road at age fifteen I began to do missionary work and I volunteered in hospitals and private residents for seniors.
A year before graduating Class of 2013 High School, I felt that being a nurse was my calling and I planned to attend nursing school. But a health storm took a wild turn with my grandparents which kept me from leaving. I am the youngest but the most called upon. I didn't understand why I was placed in the leading role for my family but I stayed and carried the burden. Well, it never felt like a burden.
Within the nine years, I've lost both of my grandfathers and one grandmother, my second oldest brother had armpit hidradenitis surgery at four different times My mother and grandmother had Congestive Heart Failure flare-ups (both are currently doing well). With the recurring health crisis, I felt my calling was being tested. If I couldn't be a hero for my own family how could I be a hero for another? With the knowledge I had from volunteering experience, I was a Sitter, an aide, and performed Nursing abilities for my family.
What stood in my way of pursuing my goals were the doubts I may make missed my opportunity when I put my life on hold to take of my family. But I believe in the say: What you give up for God, He will give back to you one-hundredfold. So this year 2022, I found the Hope to try again and have been accepted into Georgia Military College Nursing (Online Milledgeville Campus) Program.
My goal is to graduate with an Associate's Degree and make my way up to a Master's Degree. I would love to work with pediatric and geriatric patients (patients of all ages). My goal is to encourage others in my perseverance: "Storms do come but they don't last. The Light of Hope will shine for you to try again".
During my 12yrs of volunteering, I was taught the values of Honesty:
In reaching for your goals in life, the greatest honor to have bestowed in your life is when you can trusted. And to always communicate. Communication is the key to any life/death situation be it great or small. I've also learned the power of the Golden Rule: Be Ye Kind, do unto others you would have others do unto you. I've had ACL reconstruction surgery and have reaped great help in return because I sowed great help into the lives of my family, the seniors and the unfortunate. In doing good to others, never look for anything in return. Let your act of kindness come from your heart and God reward you.
The Lord have rewarded me to fulfill my dream to professionally heal and save others.
