Shelby Starlets Baton Twirling Scholarship
WinnerWhen Shelby Starlets Baton came to my school and showcased what baton was I knew I had to join, so I started baton twirling at nine years old. I've twirled with Shelby Starlets through classes and competitive teams. I've been able to twirl for Helena High School Majorettes for three years. Furthermore, I virtually auditioned last fall and I have been selected to be a Faulkner University Majorette in the Soaring Eagles Marching Band.
Spider-Man Showdown Scholarship
Spider-Man Showdown Scholarship

Out of all the different actors who have depicted Spider-Man over the years, I'd have to say Tom Holland is my favorite. Wow, shocking, am I right? I know, I know, Tom Holland is every teenage girl's favorite Spider-Man, all for the reason of him being cute and sharing a sweet relationship with Zendaya. I would say that's not the reason he's my favorite, but I'd be lying. There's just something so wonderful about Tom portraying Spider-Man. Maybe it's because he was in so many Spider-Man movies, or maybe it's because he's the Spider-Man I grew up with, or maybe it's because of the way he portrayed the role. I was never a Marvel person, but I was always a Spider-Man girl - confusing, right?
You could say I was confused whenever I saw Spider-Man Homecoming for the first time, and you could for sure say I was even more confused when I saw Spider-Man Far From Home and Spider-Man No Way Home. All of the other Marvel characters made it confusing, but thankfully I had a dad who was always willing to explain, even if it annoyed everyone else in the movie theater. So, Tom Holland is my favorite Spider-Man because he was comforting to me, I grew up with him, and he allowed my dad and I to be able to bond.
