My name is Keira Peters, and I am a rising sophomore at George Washington University. I am a child of Ugandan immigrants and the oldest sister of two. Some of my outside interests include childcare, fashion, foreign languages, and history. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science double major in International Affairs and Finance. My concentrations are in International Development, Africa, and Latin America. I am passionate about International Development because everyone worldwide should have economic stability and access to opportunities. When I graduate, I am interested in working in nonprofits, the World Bank/IMF, or corporate law. I am still deciding if I want to pursue law or business school. In the future, I want to focus on making education more accessible in underdeveloped countries. I find education essential because it is a key source for providing opportunities and changing the trajectory of many lives.
