Bold PointsBio
I am currently a senior at Newton High School, which is a pretty small school considering that there is Pre-K through 12 all in one building! Each graduating class is only about 50 people, so everybody knows everybody!
I have three siblings: an older brother and sister, and a younger brother. We were all put in foster care together by my birth mom. Eventually, we were all adopted together by my parents, so thankfully, by God's grace, we didn't get split up.
People describe me as dependable, hardworking, trustworthy, bubbly, kind, and most importantly, a Christian. My identity lies with Christ. I am thankful to have parents who taught me the Gospel and showed me Jesus's love. The only reason why people describe with those adjectives is because of Christ. One verse that motivates me every day is "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV). With the scholarships that I receive, I will use them to give glory to God.
Regarding my career, I am thinking about doing law or social work. I want to find a career in which I can use my God-given talents. I would practice in adoption law because I have the experience. I would major in social work because later down the road I can travel and become a missionary. I want to attend a Christian college to continue to grow in my faith.
I make cards as a hobby with Sharpies, colored pencils, and watercolor markers. Fall is my favorite season because all the pumpkin flavors come out! I also love Christmas because that is when peppermint comes out! I also enjoy baking and decorating.
