I'm currently pursuing a degree in Business Management, driven by my passion for understanding how organizations operate and thrive. My long-term goal is to attend law school, where I can combine my business knowledge with legal expertise to make a meaningful impact in the corporate world or agricultural world.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve embraced leadership roles in various student organizations, where I’ve honed my skills in teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. I believe these experiences have prepared me well for the challenges of law school and a future legal career.
I’m also committed to community service and have volunteered with local nonprofits, which has deepened my understanding of the legal issues affecting our community. I’m confident that my dedication, strong academic record, and leadership experience make me a compelling candidate for a scholarship, as I strive to make the most of my education and give back to society.

As a passionate advocate for agriculture and a dedicated member of my community, I have spent nearly a decade immersed in various agricultural organizations, including four years with Future Farmers of America (FFA) and nine years in 4-H. My experiences in these programs have not only shaped my character but have also instilled in me a deep commitment to making a positive impact on the world. As the FFA creed states, "I believe in the future of agriculture." Being involved in River Valley FFA has allowed me to develop essential leadership skills and a profound appreciation for agriculture. Serving as President for a year and as Reporter for two years, I had the opportunity to lead my peers, organize events, and communicate the importance of agriculture to our community. These roles taught me the value of collaboration, dedication, and the ability to inspire others. My leadership experience has equipped me to advocate for the interests of farmers and agricultural communities. In addition to my FFA involvement, my time spent in 4-H has been transformative. I have raised various livestock, including cattle, hogs, and sheep, participating in shows where I earned titles such as Grand Champion Market Steer and Grand Champion Market Hog. I was also honored to be named as the 2023 Pork Queen, which not only recognized my hard work and dedication but also affirmed my commitment to promoting the pork industry and its benefits to our community. Through these experiences, I have come to understand the interconnectedness of agriculture, law, and community well-being. Agriculture is not just a profession, it is a vital part of our society that deserves legal protection and advocacy. With this understanding, I aspire to pursue a law degree after my undergraduate studies, with the goal of becoming an agricultural lawyer. Furthermore, I intend to engage with my community through educational programs and workshops, focusing on the importance of agriculture in our daily lives. By fostering a deeper understanding of where our food comes from and the legal frameworks surrounding agricultural practices, I hope to cultivate a sense of shared responsibility for our food systems and promote advocacy at all levels. In conclusion, my journey through FFA and 4-H has profoundly shaped my vision for the future. I firmly believe in the future of agriculture, and I am committed to making a positive impact through my endeavors in this field, particularly as I pursue a career in agricultural law. As I continue on my journey, I will carry the lessons of hard work, resilience, and community, which will inspire my future efforts to create meaningful and lasting change.
