Minecraft has been a popular game for my generation. The game has a vast variety of aspects such as multiple biomes, slaying the ender dragon, its main game modes etc. My favorite aspect of the game is the creative game mode. This aspect of the game resonates with me because it allows me to have a stress free creative outlet. I’ve always been drawn to this aspect of the game because I love the idea of having my own little virtual world. This game to me is so much more than just pixels. The majority of my childhood I’ve spent playing Minecraft with my friends, cousins, and my grandmas foster kids. Every time we would play we would chose creative mode. When playing with others this aspect of the game lets us create whatever we imagine without limitations (depending on what version you’re using). Not only does the creative game mode expand our imagination but it helps us increase our creative skills. Also, in situations when building something together, we use teamwork and problem solving. In addition to improving basic skills, playing with friends strengthens bonds while creating lasting memories. Being able to play with friends and family members and joking around with one another are some of the best moments. I remember when I let my younger cousin join my world and he thought it’d be funny to set my huge pink wool house on fire. When I realized it I got so upset but he kept laughing and eventually I was laughing with him. Even now at 19 years old my best friend and I will play every so often just to escape reality and the stress of college. In conclusion, I love creative mode because I’m able to have my own little virtual world and not only improve my basic skills but make memories with the people I play with. Thus, my favorite aspect of Minecraft is the creative game mode and it resonates with me because it allows me to have a stress free creative outlet. This game has made a positive impact on my life and has given me so many memories to cherish. Since I grew up playing this game and still playing it now I can definitely say that I am a Minecraft fan forever.
