I am ambitious, resilient, and compassionate. These three qualities have driven me in various aspects throughout my life, by encouraging me to start my own fundraiser while only in high school, raising over $15,000 for multiple sclerosis, and has enabled me to open an L.L.C. in the midst of a global pandemic, at the age of nineteen. Although these qualities have grown overtime due to trials and tribulations that I have faced, I know that they will continue to push me into further success and leadership in the future. Inspired by my personal experience with dealing with five rare chronic illnesses, I believe that the biggest obstacle that can stand in someone's way is not the obstacle itself, but how they are able to adapt to adversity. I have never been afraid to take a leadership position and have always tried to give one hundred and ten percent towards all activities that I am involved in, no matter how challenging it may appear in the beginning. From the young age of being team captain on my cheer team, to being my high school's beta club president, and in college leading my sororities biggest fundraiser of the year, The Franklin 5k, raising over $100,000. I am valorous and willing to take risks in order to accomplish any given task to the best extent possible. I am a recent alumni of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Biology and Economics. I am advancing my education in the fall of 2023 at Vanderbilt University in the Masters of Science of Nursing, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program, to aid others with chronic disabilities!
