I am driven by the future I want, and the past that I came from. I am a first-generation college student in my family, and I will complete what they didn't get the chance to participate in. Because I grew up in a low-income home, I value anything that is given to me. Even the chance to write this and show off some of my work. Behind the daily grind of applying to internships, doing odd jobs, and going to class, I am a tree hugger through and through. I am an Eagle Scout in Scouting America, and I have so much respect for this rock we live on. I try to help out anyway I can, to keep the land clean and take care of the resources we have. Another hobby of mine is archery; my first job was a range manager/coach, where I would teach kids and their families safety and how to fire an arrow into the target. I have always loved working with kids and seeing them gain confidence in themselves after learning a new skill. I have always been crafty at heart; every art form is one I want to experiment with. Some of my favorite works are done in many different mediums. I have decided that to be a good graphic artist, I need to know the foundation of art and explore many things to hone my skills overall. I want a future where I can work alongside my peers to create brands or marketing tactics that grab the attention of everyday people.
