Tim Williams Automotive Student Scholarship
As a passionate and determined female in the automotive industry, I'm excited to apply for this scholarship. Growing up, I was often discouraged from pursuing a career in the male-dominated automotive industry. However, my fascination with engines and problem-solving fueled my motivation.
I've always been captivated by the intricacies of vehicles and the satisfaction of restoring them to optimal condition. It all began when I was a little girl, watching my dad turn wrenches in our garage. Often times, he'd take me out for drives around the neighborhood and let me help with light work. When I turned sixteen, he taught me how to drive on his manual honda civic. I fell in love with the adrenaline of being at the wheel, switching gears, and accelerating down the street. This passion drove me to enroll at Universal Technical Institute. I am set to graduate this November. Now, I'm eager to continue my education and earn all Automotive Service Excellence certifications. Moreover, I plan to continue my internship as a lube technician at Toyota. I strive to gain as much experience by shadowing my fellow line techs and making diverse connections with those in the automotive community.
As a woman in a traditionally male field, I've faced many challenges like discrimination and bullying. There has been many times that I have doubted myself, but my parents and siblings have always been there to encourage me. I'm determined to pave the way for like minded young girls and challenge stereotypes. My goal is to inspire and empower young girls and women to explore careers in automotive technology. With this scholarship, I plan to establish a local community outreach program, offering free workshops and tutorials, mentor aspiring female mechanics, and develop educational resources and online content on social media. Upon certification, I aim to open my own repair shop with my father and the friends I have made along the way, focusing on affordable services and job training, collaborating with organizations supporting women in STEM, and advocating for diversity and inclusion in the automotive industry. This scholarship will bridge the financial gap, enabling me to pursue certifications and networking opportunities. It will also validate my hard work and dedication, inspiring the upcoming generation to follow in my footsteps. Thank you for your consideration in my application. I'm excited to make a lasting impact in the automotive industry and empower future generations of female mechanics.

As a passionate young woman with a drive to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, I am eager to embark on a career as an auto technician. Growing up, I was fascinated by the intricacies of engines and the satisfaction of restoring vehicles to optimal condition. Despite financial constraints, I am determined to pursue my dream and overcome obstacles to achieve success in this rewarding field.
My fascination with automobiles began when I was a little girl, watching my father fixing the family cars in the garage. His ability to overcome problems and the sensation of completing a job was more than satisfying. I am drawn to the dynamic nature of automotive technology, where innovation and problem-solving are constant companions.
Unfortunately, financial limitations pose a significant barrier to pursuing my aspirations. The cost of tuition, tools, and certification programs are costly. Moreover, the struggle to support my family is straining. Despite these challenges, I remain committed to my goal, seeking scholarships, grants, and part-time work to alleviate financial burdens.
To become a competent auto technician, I have enrolled at Universal Technical Institute, with the goal of graduating in November. Coursework will include engine repair, transmission overhaul, HVAC systems, brake systems, electrical diagnostics, and so much more. I will also seek internships and hands-on training to hone my skills.
Upon completing my education, I aim to obtain my Automotive Service Excellence certifications. These credentials will validate my expertise and enhance job prospects. Long-term goals include specialization in high-performance vehicles and potentially opening my own shop.
Financial need will not deter me from achieving my objectives. Through perseverance, hard work, and strategic planning, I will navigate these challenges. Scholarships, financial aid, and community resources will be pivotal in bridging the financial gap.
Becoming an auto technician is more than a career choice; it is a passion-driven pursuit. Despite financial hurdles, I remain resolute in my commitment to succeed. With determination, education, and support, I am confident that my dreams will become a reality, enabling me to make meaningful contributions to the automotive industry.
Lauren Czebatul Scholarship
Throughout my life, I have strived to find opportunities to help others. Whether it was staying late after school to help the medical team on the football field or staying late after school to help clean the campus with the custodians, I have found ways to spread kindness to my community. My experience in volunteering has drastically changed the way I view the world. I have gained a new perspective through the eyes of the individuals I work alongside and the wonderful people I had the pleasure to meet.
I joined a cross-age literacy program in my junior year of high school. I could visit the local elementary school to teach literature one-on-one with a partner through this program. I met and became close friends with a kindergartener named Josiah. We read books together, draw/express ourselves through art, and use our imagination at the playground. It wasn't until I met Josiah that I realized how much I had grown up and changed since high school. However, I relived my childhood through his perspective and regained the happy moments of being a kid. Since then, I can appreciate the time and opportunities I had as a child. I greatly value the time I spent as a carefree kid and the time I have now to prepare for my future.
Furthermore, I spent some time on the football field with the school's medical team after school. I'd spend three hours after school assisting the injured athletes and attending football games with the school's medical team to ensure the player's safety. I felt satisfied with every person I helped!
Volunteering has made me realize that I love helping people. Since I was a little girl, I always tried to spread kindness through my actions. However, I just now found out my motive. I continue spreading kindness through my community by volunteering in school programs like the key club and the local thrift store. I don't think I'll ever stop helping people. One of my primary life goals is to establish an institution to help teenagers suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts. Volunteering has truly changed my life. It has opened my eyes to the hardships and adversity in our world. Rather than ignore the people's distress, I want to aid and comfort those struggling.
I need this scholarship financially to avoid any student debts that I may encounter in the future. I want to be independent and pay for my education without burdening my financially unstable parents. I also want my parents to be proud of me for making something of myself. With the current state of the economy, this scholarship will allow me to focus less on my financial load and more on my studies. Moreover, this scholarship will support my future career goal of becoming an environmental economist. I'd love to live comfortably while helping my community through donations and volunteering in my free time. I don't believe in living extravagantly. Instead, I believe in helping every individual to live safely and happily.
Maverick Grill and Saloon Scholarship
Like many of the spirited young individuals of my generation, I have dreams. Nevertheless, my goals require more than just hard work, and I plan to do my best to get there.
As a little girl, my only concerns were making new friends and sharing my toys. However, as I grew older, I learned about shifting gears that make up our world. I found life far more complicated than I set it out to be. I've faced numerous struggles and setbacks that have brought me down. I've withstood the grueling days and barely survived the worst ones. Until today, I have managed to resist my negative emotions and endure the harshest times. My optimistic attitude has proved effective throughout my day-to-day life. I have made connections with people I never expected to meet. However, I am sincerely grateful for the experiences I have shared with them. I have taken on opportunities outside of my comfort zone and thrived in the height of my moments. Most importantly, I refused to surrender to my ill-given fate. Instead, I continued to fight for the things I believed in.
I may not be as academically gifted as my classmates. However, I lead with my moral values. I possess compassion, patience, honesty, and loyalty. I am open-minded and willing to improve myself to benefit those around me. My peers greatly admire my respect for others. Above all, I am exceptionally humble about the opportunities given to me. I don't believe I'd be the person I am today without the kindness I have received from my family, educators, and peers. I have performed significantly in my academics and life through their support.
In the near future, I aspire to give back to my community through numerous approaches:
I wish to establish an organization supporting less fortunate individuals. I want to open up a home where the needy may rest and receive home-cooked meals while allowing them to get back on their feet. I believe in the kindness of people's hearts and wish to receive funding through charities. I'd love to protect my beloved environment by founding an environmental park. Not only would it offer a safe place for nature to thrive, but it would allow for the true beauty of my community to remain untouched by civilization. I intend to set up a program to help adolescents and young adults suffering from depression and other mental illnesses. As someone who can relate to the vast majority of struggling individuals, I wish to provide open support to those who can accept it.
Countless people and experiences have brought me to where I am today. Although there is no way I will be able to repay their kindness fully, I want to do as much as I can to support my community. Whether by donating to charity or spending a few minutes of my time in the hearts of others, I wish to make my life's purpose of giving kindness to the world.

My dearest lady love,
Her sun-kissed skin bleeding red.
My angel dressed in blinding silver,
With fine pearls embellishing her bosom,
And silk as high as sunrise,
Her velvet skin was as cold as death.
My hedonistic debutant,
How she strides among the innocent,
The eyes that penetrate her gams,
Her golden skin was unbound.
My cloying baby belle,
How she sways her chassis in leisure,
With her furs draped upon the floor,
Her blushing skin of bliss.
My Mon Cherie,
Her eyes are my threshold,
Her smile as delicate as a glass,
Her skin honed to the touch.
My divine porcelain doll,
With cheeks blushing cherry red,
The touch of grace,
Her skin subtle skin drained.
My lovely tender dame,
Her feet have gone weary,
She smiles no longer,
Her eyes have gone dry.
My sorrowful amoretta,
How the world has treated you so,
I relinquish my heart to her,
Forever and always.

Life has never been the easiest for me. Whether it be the long-time struggle of competing with my classmates for the highest grade or struggling to have food on the table every night, life brings unrelenting roadblocks throughout the years. I have struggled with low self-esteem since I was a kid, especially when it came to my academics. I'd study for countless nights and work to my strongest abilities. However, the moment another classmate received a higher score than me, I would give up and cry. This endless cycle of studying until I failed has severely damaged my self-confidence. It only worsened when I entered high school. I underwent emotional numbness and my grades began to fall from A's to B's. Unfortunately, I struggled the worst during online school. Without the social and academic aspects of a classroom, I couldn't focus. My grades suffered as a result. I received my first C grade and suddenly my heart dropped. It was at this point that I knew my future was at stake. Moreover, my family has always suffered from financial difficulties. Every night was a struggle to put dinner on the table or clothes on our backs. We had to choose between eating that night or buying supplies for school.
Nonetheless, the years passed by and the world went into quarantine. My life began to change drastically. My father acquired a more steadily paying job and I returned to the school campus for my junior year. After looking back on the previous online school year, I knew I had to change. I got straight back into my academics. I started studying every night, reading/researching numerous supporting subjects, attending after-school tutoring sessions with my teachers, etc. My grades began to increase to A's and my self-esteem began to rise. However, I still compared myself to others. As a result, I endured abundant amounts of stress and pressure from not meeting the substantial standards. Despite that, I had never been happier with my academic and social improvements. Going into my senior year of high school brought significant changes to my life. I moved from California to Florida. I attended a lesser academically challenging school. Consequently, I had less competition. Thus, it was easier to do better than my classmates. My self-esteem increased. I felt more confident in my work. I spoke with my teachers about techniques to improve my work.
Since then, I have never looked back. I continue to move forward in my education and my personal life. I am persistent in my studying and strive to improve myself. The difficulties I have faced have changed me for the better. They have made me into the humble, kind-hearted, and respectful person I am today. acquired
Healthy Eating Scholarship
My healthy eating habit consists of eating an 80/20 ratio of food that will overall improve the health of my body. I have never been interested in fried goods or over-sweetened beverages which I am glad about. I am grateful to have the opportunity to eat the foods that I want and when I want. Having the ability to have healthy eating habits has always influenced my life. Not only does it help keep me strong physically but it supports me mentally.
I have never had a healthy relationship with my body. I would nitpick on every characteristic I deemed undesirable and constantly tried to change myself. At some point, it got so bad I began to starve myself. As a consequence, I noticed my body's energy severely decreasing and I felt sick constantly. I was always cold and would run out of breath going upstairs. Although I began to lose weight and fat, I understood that this was not healthy for me. And so, over the next year, I began to eat healthier foods and a substantial amount for my body. Suddenly, I felt more energized and capable of doing many things I had previously struggled on. I began to put on some weight but I knew that my body was healthy. Although I still struggle with bad body goals and want to change, I know that the body I have been given will always be the one to support me. And in exchange, I wish to feed it with healthy foods while still spoiling myself once in a while.
When it came to my mental stability, healthy eating habits have had a severe impact on my day-to-day life. Before I began practicing healthy eating habits, I noticed I was always feeling tired and unmotivated to get through the day. I had never considered the healthy alternatives to food and simply binged throughout the day. However, I knew this was unhealthy for my soul. So, when I started a healthier lifestyle I began to feel more motivated and positive. Suddenly, I thought I could do anything and I did. I was able to pass my exams with flying colors and participate in class effortlessly. Not only this, but for once in my life I felt happy. There was an abundance of adrenaline when I received good grades which pushed me to study harder. And since my body had been fueled with healthy items, my mind was able to stay focused and motivated. I had also been able to become more confident when it came to socializing and was able to eat out in public without shame.
I don't like to think of myself as a health nut but rather someone who wishes to embrace the side of life that is filled with eating happily. Eating healthy has taught me that you don't need to eat an entire cake when you are sad or eat one thing instead of another because it was supposedly healthier. I am eternally grateful that I am offered a variety of healthy foods and can freely make any decisions about my diet.
Cat Zingano Overcoming Loss Scholarship
About a year ago, my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The very thing that many people should never have to endure had come upon my family without warning. And although I like to deny that it ever happened, my grandmother passed away shy of a month ago. Her unexpected death crushed me physically and mentally. I had just come out of school when I was informed with the news. In that very moment, I couldn't think straight. It brought me back to all the memories I had shared with her. Whether it be happy or sad memories, each moment with her was cherished.
However, her death inspired me. Throughout her life, I knew she had never been truly happy with life. Despite this, she fought for what she believed in and loved her family. She focused on her academics and lived every day like there was no tomorrow. Her morals were pure and her future goals were set. And so, I wish to live her legacy through me by doing the same. I plan to strive for my goal of becoming an economist. I want to spend as much time as possible with my loved ones and make memories that will last a lifetime. I want to be kind-hearted and academically driven to make her proud.
My grandmother's death made me look back on how short and painful life can be. I know that living your life with a negative mindset will only cause you to be miserable. So, I understood the importance of taking on every day with a positive mindset. At any moment when I feel upset about how terrible my day is going, I look back at my grandmother's life and how she lived every day like it was her last.
Every day I continue to bask in the glory. I thank my parents and loved ones for being a part of my life. And most importantly, I thank the world for being able to wake up every morning to live a life that I've created for myself. I can continue to pursue my pleasures, make a difference in the world, and love someone.
I know my grandmother will always be with me to guide and protect me. Although it is painful to have to say goodbye to her forever, I appreciate every moment we spent together.
Mind, Body, & Soul Scholarship
As the end of my final year of high school approaches and I prepare for secondary education, I realize I have no idea what I'm doing. Although I like to think of myself as prepared, I am vaguely aware of what college has to bring to the table. However, I like to look at the positives of my situation and overexcite myself with the pros of college.
For example, the new social life that's filled with a broader range of unique individuals from all around the globe. I'm ecstatic about getting to meet and become friends with new people. I love to get to know more about the world through other people's eyes and broaden my mind with experiences.
Not only do I wish to become acquainted with new people, but I'm excited for the new opportunities to come. Whether it be internships, studying abroad, or becoming one with greek life, the new opportunities found in secondary educational institutions are exceedingly desirable to me. For the longest time, wanting to constantly learn new things has always been a part of me. Overall, the entire experience of college life is tempting and is luring me straight in.
However, living a great college life comes with its consequences. One of the most well-known cons of college life is how exhausted everyone is. Either it is from the millions of sleepless nights or the burnout from an excessive amount of homework. No matter the reason for sleep deprivation, every student has a way of loosening up after a long day.
I never procrastinate to the point where I'm late on assignments. I'm always on top of my work and constantly get ahead in the game. However, like everyone, I have my weaknesses. Keeping myself sane is a key component of my existence. To keep myself in a good physical and mental state, I like to take a day off every month to focus on the important things in life. Some days I'd give myself a pep talk before bed or scream into my pillow. On other days I'd ball my eyes out in the shower or simply lay down on the floor to contemplate. As unhealthy as some of those techniques may sound, they allow me to let out all the bundled-up emotions.
I've always had an unhealthy relationship with my body. Over the years, I've learned the importance of care needed for the body. I always make sure to eat a good 80/20 ratio of healthy and unhealthy foods while giving myself days to simply eat anything I want. I have never done the trendy diets found on the internet or in magazines. Instead, I eat the things I know my body wants. I know I'll never be able to have the body that is praised for by the internet but I know that the body I have now will always support me. When it comes to water, I drink a substantial amount. I strive for more than 8 glasses a day but sometimes settle for 6. Despite the constant trips to the bathroom, the benefits of drinking water have allowed me to glow.
A healthy beaming soul is something that attracts many people. I make sure to provide intense care and love to my soul. By meditating or simply knowing my limits, I'm able to cleanse my soul and let myself become free. Before any other factors in life, I focus mainly on my soul before anything else to ensure that I can go through the day as the cheerful kind-hearted person I am.
Growing with Gabby Scholarship
I had never taken my life seriously until my junior year of high school. I've always been told to enjoy my childhood while I was still young, so I took this to my advantage. I made reckless decisions and didn't care too much about my academics. Despite the happiness I gained from those years, I had never felt satisfied. I felt an empty void in my sense of purpose. It was then that I realized I wasn't achieving my full potential. Instead, I was messing around with my future. This realization had a significant impact on my life.
It was after my sophomore year that I knew I had to do something to change myself. I looked back on my past two years of high school. I was an average B student at best. I rarely participated in any extracurriculars or sports. Furthermore, I wasn't a part of any clubs or organizations besides one. I knew that the colleges and universities I was interested in were not fond of these types of students. I wanted to improve my grades and overall display for my future college applications.
What have I done to progress? Since the beginning of my junior year, I have excelled in my academics. I have become a straight-A student! I have formed great relationships with all my teachers that I still keep in touch with today. I joined several organizations that help those around me and became more active. I began playing tennis with my friends on the weekend. On top of that, I started working in retail to gain experience in future professions. I eliminated the sloth inside of me and emerged as a radiant butterfly. I had never felt more fulfilled in my life. For once, I felt as though I was close to achieving my purpose. I felt happier than ever before!
However, despite the changes I endured, I remained the same person to my family and friends. I hadn't changed my personality or identity. Instead, I grew to love my family more and bonded closer to my friends.
Some consider it maturity while others say it's just from growing up. However, I think of it as a form of self-realization. Changing for yourself requires more effort than changing for someone else. Not only because it means you need to set your own goals but because you need to have the motivation to continue. I'm elated to have developed into the ambitious, kind-hearted, academically driven young woman I am today. And I have my past experiences to thank for it.
Throughout my journey, I've learned that self-love is one of the most important things one can do. If you don't love yourself first, you won't be able to open yourself up to love others. As selfish as it may sound, putting yourself before others can be a crucial part of life's structure. Furthermore, having goals that seem unachievable are the kind of goal that everyone needs. It pushes the person to strive for their goal no matter how hard it may seem. Reaching our full potential is one of the meanings of life!
Dante Luca Scholarship
In my junior year of high school, I was a part of a student-led program that would visit children from the local elementary and read to them and participate in other activities. After taking a two-week learning class on how to help mold children's minds, I went to the local elementary. I met with a young boy, Josiah. He was a kindergartener with an extremely creative imagination. When I first saw Josiah I knew we would be the best of friends.
We began by introducing ourselves and playing a get-to-know-you game. Afterward, I prepared to read a book of his choice. He was reluctant to read with me as he would have rather continued to play. However, I was able to convince him by promising him stickers once we had finished. As we began reading together, I noticed he had a hard time pronouncing many words. He seemed to get upset after a while so we stopped. After gifting him stickers I returned to my school.
The following week I returned to Josiah with a selection of books and worksheets that I hoped would help him with spelling. He was excited to start learning to write by tracing and we even began counting toward one hundred. For the next few weeks, we continued reading and completing worksheets. I noticed he had started to improve his pronunciation and writing and I could never have been prouder.
When we weren't reading or doing worksheets, Josiah would love to roleplay together. He would pretend to be Batman and I would be Robin. We would run around the field together pretending to hide from helicopters and other students. Some days he would jump on my back and I would race around with him. Nearly every time we met he would share stories about his family and their adventures. The bond between us was inseparable. I enjoyed these moments with him and will never forget them.
Near the end of the first semester, I noticed Josiah had progressed astronomically. I couldn't help but be overjoyed every time I saw him. Having seen his improvement over the months had inspired me to put in more work toward my goals. Since then I had prospered greatly. I had always kept his story in the back of my mind.
Unfortunately, near the middle of April, I was informed I would be moving to another state. The news broke me apart since I knew I would be leaving Josiah. The next day when I saw Josiah was the last. I approached him and told him about the news. He was upset and wouldn't let go of me when it was time for me to leave. However, we made the best of our last day by doing all the activities he's always wanted to do. Near the end of our time together, I gifted him a small sketchbook for him to draw in. I told him I would return in a year and would love to see all the things he's drawn over the years. He was excited about my visit back and began drawing the moment I left.
Although it's been 6 months since I've seen Josiah, I can't help but remember all the great memories we had together. Not only was I able to help him improve his reading and writing skills, but his childish imagination had bloomed. Josiah's effect on me was extraordinary; although he may not know it, he influenced me to embrace my imagination and continue striving for my goals no matter the consequences.
As my senior progresses, my anticipation to see Josiah when I return to California in the summer is uncontrollable. Although I'm unsure as to how much he will change over the years, I am overly enthusiastic to see how he's grown. I can't wait for us to read over his sketchbook and maybe even start a new book!
First in Business Foundation Scholarship
The business field possibly feels like the most prestige career. Whether it be movies or cartoons, the protagonist playing the role of the secretary or the CEO has always attracted my attention. Perhaps it was the fancy clothing or the professional lifestyle. However, as I entered my senior year of high school, I had come to the realization that being in the business field was something that I wanted to do. I wanted to become one of the successful CEO businesswomen that started from the bottom and fought her way to the top. And so, I've begun applying to business schools to begin my climb. As a female part of a minority, playing a part in the business field is far more important. Not only will my ethnicity and gender no longer be looked down upon, but newcomers will have more courage to take their places on the podium. It is time that females are no longer the stereotypical desk secretary but instead take the seat of the executives.
Success is something that has to be earned, not given. One must strive for greatness and undertake hardships to be granted the ability to say "I've made something of myself!" Success isn't a bragging right that can be used to bring others down. Instead, it's something you can use to inspire those around you to achieve something better. Why do I want to be successful? I don't wish to be successful to prove others wrong or to show everyone my capabilities. Rather, I wish to be successful for myself, and only myself, and there is nothing that can stop simple determination. And not only for myself but to make my parents proud. I want to prove to my younger siblings that they can do something with themselves even when they don't feel like they can. I want to be an inspiration for the upcoming generation so that the future can become something unbelievable. To me, success is something that is immeasurable. It holds something dear to my heart that no physical object can.
And when all is said and done, in the end, I want to return the favors and advantages that I have been undoubtedly gifted. My community, whether it be my neighbors, family, or friends, has in some way pushed me to strive for something greater. They have built a home for me and allowed me to grow with the best education I could ever be offered, especially as someone of a minority. So giving back to my community allows for the upcoming generation to grow stronger and possibly more advanced than past generations. The support and advantages I have been given by my community will always be the backbone that pushed me to become who I am. It's simply a priceless gift that I could never possibly repay.
Sikora Drake STEM Scholarship
Throughout my highschool career, economics has never been a major in mind. That was until I entered my senior year of highschool and fell in love with the course. Since then, I've decided to pursue a major in economics to become an economist.
When it comes to the world of finance and buisness, it is not usual to see a female Asian economist. Especially due to the stereotypes of men dominating the business workfield. Because of this, I want to influence an environment with more diversity to help future female/Asian economist when they pursue this field.
Diversity is something that is very influential during this modern era. With the world ever changing, it is important that we all try to promote and support this change. I want to be apart of the current movement and enter a workfield that is not the norm to my ethnicity. I sincerely hope that I can have an effect on the world one day with just a simple action.
Mental Health Importance Scholarship
Mental health is a critical aspect of everyone's lives. It is most important towards high school students and college students. Since a good mental health helps a student thrive in their studies, I believe that it is necessary for their to be services to help keep us in tip top shape.
When it comes to my own mental wellness, I am always on top of my game. Whenever there is a deadline approaching or numerous assessments to study for, I am always able to pace myself to be well prepared. When it comes to stress filled weeks, I power through that week and try to relax as much as possible afterwards. That way, I'm prepared for the next challenge.
I am extremely glad that there are so many people and services willing to support students in their mental health when it comes to school. With constant pressure and intense anxiety beating at students, I believe it it very important for everyone to find a way to enjoy their lives as well!
