I am a high school student aspiring to become a nurse practitioner in the future. My dream is to honor my mother's sacrifices for me by introducing new opportunities to her that she's never had. I am the oldest child of six siblings and have a sense of responsibility to be a role model whom they can look up to. I take academics extremely seriously and enjoy balancing that out with sports, volunteering, and home life, and I will be a first-generation Hispanic and black student for my family.
