Hello, my name is Katherine (she/her/hers)! I am a second-year student at Northeastern University studying health science with a minor in behavioral neuroscience. Aside from academics, I am also involved in student organizations on my campus, including the Health Disparities Student Collaborative, a book club, the Northeastern University Researchers of Neuroscience (aka NEURONS), and the Northeastern Triathlon Club. Outside of Northeastern, I am involved in volunteering with organizations such as Boston Cares and Big Sister Boston. Upon graduating, I hope to get involved in research, specifically research on aging. When I moved to Boston for school, I realized just how much the world has to offer and how desperately I want to try it all. Go to space; explore the oceans; travel the world. It seems almost unfair that we have so much to experience and yet so little time to do so. I’d like to work on research that promotes healthy aging so that people can have more time to truly live their lives. With your help, I’d love to make this dream of mine into a reality for others!
