Youssef University’s College Life Scholarship
Right now with $1,000 I would pay off my credit card bill. I put my tuition costs on my credit card since I am scared of getting any loans. I hope to go to law school after finishing my undergraduate degree and pursuing a J.D at Columbia University. My goal since I was younger was always law school and I know that law school is far more expensive than my undergraduate degree. Due to this I have chosen to not take any loans out for my undergraduate degree and have resources to do anything I can to find a way to pay for school. My parents were hit with COVID-19 two months back and had to deplete their entire savings accounts in a matter of two months between living and medical expenses. At this moment $1,000 would help me immensely and subside some of the anxiety that I have been getting recently because of how tight money is. I have resorted to doing doordash and looking for any freelance job I can get on. This scholarship will keep me in school and on time with my tuition. Most of all this scholarship would give me a second to breathe just enough.
