I imagine a world where, wherever I go, I’m surrounded by peaceful, healed people. I live in Chicago, where there are neighborhoods full of destruction, violence, and murder. “The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.” — African proverb That proverb resonates with me. Why are people behaving destructively? Because of generational pain, a lack of seeing a better way, and an inability to communicate effectively. My mission is to help restore what’s been lost; make the entire city of Chicago a safe place to be, and eventually every city that mirrors depravity
