Creating my portfolio was an emotional and reflective process, as I wanted to capture more than just athleticism—I wanted to tell a story. I chose black and white track and field images to strip away distractions and focus on raw emotion: the determination in an athlete’s face, the celebration after crossing the finish line, the quiet moments of reflection before a race. These moments reflect not only the athletes' journeys but also my own—pushing through challenges, staying dedicated, and constantly striving for improvement. Track and field is unique because every second, every step, every push forward matters. That’s how I see my photography journey. I’ve put in countless hours, refining my skills, investing in my equipment, and taking on opportunities to grow. Much like the athletes I photograph, I’ve faced setbacks and obstacles, but my passion drives me to keep going.
