Bio

How would I describe myself? Honestly, I have no clue, but I do know how I spend my life. I'm passionate about animals ever since I could watch Animal Planet I've wanted to help them. I want to go to college to become a part of the Army's Vet Corps, my dream is to be able to travel the world and give care to animals with less fortunate owners. I love to volunteer, I have spent my summer collecting fabric, sewing, and donating masks to the Boys and Girls Club because it was needed and if I don't do it how do I know it will happen? I'm an active part of my school's GSA, FFA (in which I'm Secretary), R.A.K.E, JROTC, GSA, ASB, Active Minds, Speech and Debate, and Theatre and I love being an active part of my community and make the world better than I found it. When I go to college, I will be the first person in my family to do so, and that is a huge deal for me, the pressure of not making the same mistakes my parents did.

My town is small, but we have millionaires and those with seemingly millions in debt. I'm comfortable in my living but still low enough to see what's happening. One day I decided to help the Kids Café, a program that feeds kids throughout the town on a bus. It amazed me the number of families that needed food, some kids I went to school with, and some just learning to walk running to the bus. I wish I could see a world that could scrape itself out of poverty, people could get jobs and children would never stave. Out of all the children that I helped, one stood out to me the most. There was a little girl around 6 with her brother maybe half her age. I asked her what she wanted to eat and she told me whatever her brother was having because they were focusing on feeding him. We had extra food so I let her grab two for her brother and one for her. But that changed the way how I saw what I was doing, there was being a difference. The next stop we made was at the boys and girls club, It was during the Co-Vid 19 outbreak so all the kids were wearing masks, some barely covered their faces and wouldn't stay on. I asked the worker and he said they had difficulties finding kid-friendly masks, and most of the kids couldn't afford or wouldn't bring their own. I knew I had to do something, so I sent a message to people on Facebook asking if they could donate fabric and I got to work. I have made 100 masks so far and I'm still not done. There is so much that needs help in my little town and I'm just one person doing a few things to help.

Cash, Labrador malamute Siberian husky mix. The moment we brought him home from his first home we knew he belonged with us. The little guy was an absolute goof-ball, he would crawl on my shoulders and lick the whipped cream of my coffee. We had bought him because our golden lab had recently passed away and there was a hole in our family. Although he is terribly behaved he always sits like a good boy when the treat box comes out. His name is cash and handle is @issa_wild_corgi_113
