I am a senior student-athlete at Minot State University. I am from Brisbane, Australia. I moved to the United States to study and play collegiate basketball in 2018. I was a captain for my team last season while also working as a peer mentor for the Minot State Univeristy POWER center. My role involves mentoring/tutoring students from low income households or students with documented disabilities. I have travelled to eight different countries and certainly want to travel more after graduation. I plan on doing this through GVI, which is a company that allows people to volunteer abroad while also doing tourist activities. I believe I am a great candidate for scholarship opportunities as I am a driven individual who is present in the athletic, academic, and civic service communities. I am completing my bachelor's degree program this semester then going on to receive my MBA in Sport Management through a fast-track program next year. While completing my master's, I will also be continuing my job as a peer mentor and playing my last year of collegiate basketball.
