Hey there! My name is Karlie Dale Keepfer. I am a 15-year-old girl living in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. Living here, I am often stereotyped as a "dumb hillbilly". The more I speak and interact with people from outside the region, the more I bring many of them to realize how ridiculous the stereotype is. One thing that brings me great joy is contributing to the movement against judging people before you know them. Not just for people like me, but classes, cultures, religions and many others. When I grow up, I want to be an architect. I won't be just any architect, but one that creates and designs buildings that include styles from every culture and geographical area. From Modern architecture to Baroque architecture, each building will represent the unity and equality of the human race.
