Barbie Dream House Scholarship
Whoa, Barbie! Let’s change this up for the times!
It’s 2023 and Barbie has some different values now. She has embraced minimalism so she can use her extra money to help the poor.
She lives in a tiny house by Lake Michigan. Her and Ken run lake clean-ups so the whole community can get involved. In their spare time they volunteer at a local soup kitchen and also donate a considerable amount of money to help the less fortunate.
Inside her tiny house is still pink and well decorated, just on a smaller scale. She shops at a thrift store to furnish her place with gently used pictures, couches, chairs, tables, and rugs. Since it is tiny, she doesn’t need much, but it is still designed impeccably. She has a pull out couch that turns into a bed, a kitchen counter that folds up when not in use, and a table that doubles as a bench when needed.
They drive a small electric car to save the environment. They don’t need a camper because they live by a beautiful lake, so they saved that money and donated it so seniors have bus transportation to and from the city.
Barbie and Ken have love for each other, their community, and the world. That is all they need.
