Hello! My name is Karina Samuel, and I plan on pursuing Business Administration and Statistics at University. I am interested in the intersection of statistics and social advocacy, including environmental justice efforts. I am most passionate about mathematics, research, community service, and music. In my free time, I enjoy teaching music, volunteering with various advocacy organizations, and writing. I currently serve as a music instructor in South Florida for students with disabilities. I strive to create a more inclusive, accommodating, and accepting world. All of my extracurricular engagements allow me to promote disability, environmental, and racial justice. I am excited to continue pursuing these goals through college and beyond. When I graduate, I want to start a program that empowers high school minorities and helps them enter fields that traditionally exclude them, like STEM and management sectors. I hope to teach other minority-presenting students to pursue their dreams and motivate them to break through barriers.
