Bio

Since I was in Kindergarten I have been in Girl Scouts. Over the years we have volunteered at various locations in our community. I am proud to say that I am a Gold Award Recipient and that the Gold award is the highest award achievable in Girl Scouts. This is a hard accomplishment as only 6% of Girl Scouts in the United States have completed such a task. For this project I made and donated over 1500 masks to my community when the pandemic started. This allowed essential employees to continue working with safety precautions. I have earned my Girl Scout Community Service bars this year by volunteering my time at the Lady Veterans Connect in Winchester, Kentucky. This facility is for homeless women who are veterans. I completed 20 hours helping organize items at the facility, helped during their yard sales, and cleaning. I have been volunteering at this facility for the past 2 years and will continue to help out in the future. Through volunteering I have impacted several both in my community, in surrounding areas, and in my girl scout community. I have showed younger girls that women can accomplish anything they set their mind to and have fun doing it. As for my career, I would like to pursue Graphic Design because of my love for art and visual design. My goal is to receive a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at Morehead State University after completing 2 years at Bluegrass Community & Technical College.
