First - by Kaitlyn Casteel I want to be someone’s first I don’t mean first kiss Or first time (though those wouldn't be so bad) I want to be someone’s first priority When they wake up and their first thought of everyday is to send me a good morning text When they see a flower boutique or a library and they think of me Because they know i love flowers and books just as much as any other hopeless romantic I want someone who won’t waste my time Someone who cherishes every moment we spend together . Someone who kisses me for hours because they would rather share the oxygen with me than go and breathe their own. Someone who isn’t afraid to have me around their friends. I thought that this was the bare minimum. That this was just human decency. That everyone shared a baseline respect for each other. Did I grow up too sheltered? Or has the world deteriorated in the short time I had to grow up?
