Hi! I'm Kaitlan Thomas, an Honors Scholar at Spelman College studying Economics with a minor in Sociology. I'm passionate about expanding economic opportunity and creating pathways to wealth for underserved communities. Through leadership roles in advocacy, civic engagement, and student organizations, I've worked to empower young people and drive meaningful change on campus and beyond. Currently, I'm an Operations & Logistics Intern with ESSENCE, where I'm gaining experience in large-scale event operations and community building. I was also the Grand Prize Winner of Duke University's New Ideas Competition for developing an AI literacy initiative aimed at increasing access to emerging technology for Black and Brown students. My goal is to build a career at the intersection of business, media, and social impact while creating opportunities for future generations.
