My name is Kahina, and as a trailblazer for my family, I've embarked on a journey of higher education, proudly being the first among my lineage to do so. At 24, hailing from the vibrant culture of France, my academic pursuit isn't merely a personal milestone; it's a legacy in the making. Already immersed in university life since August 2023, my major, Teaching in Foreign Language, specifically focuses on the intricate beauty and profound depth of the French language.
This path I've chosen is more than a career; it's my passion, my commitment to bridging worlds through the power of language. Every day in this journey, I am reminded that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about opening minds, connecting hearts across cultural divides, and nurturing a global community of understanding and respect. In my classrooms, I strive to be more than an educator; I am a cultural liaison, an advocate for diversity, and a mentor, inspiring my students to explore and appreciate the rich tapestry of our world's languages and cultures.
Each day at university is a step forward in my mission to intertwine education with cultural exchange. With the support of my family and the fire of my passion for the French language and culture, I am not just learning; I am preparing to make a difference, to foster an environment where language transcends communication and becomes a pathway to unity and empathy in our increasingly interconnected world.

November 2021 marked the beginning of a pivotal chapter in my life, as I transitioned from my familiar surroundings in France to the vibrant and diverse landscape of America. This move wasn't just a change of location; it was a continuation of a life enriched by travel, a journey that began when I was three, thanks to my mother's passion for exploring the world. My travels have been extensive and enlightening, spanning from the cultural richness of England, Spain, and Portugal to the captivating beauty of Algeria, Bermuda, and Bali, not to mention an in-depth exploration of France and an ambitious venture through 21 states in America. Each destination has woven its unique thread into the fabric of my life, contributing to a rich tapestry of experiences that have shaped my perspectives and aspirations.
The transformative power of travel was profoundly manifested during a memorable visit to Bali, Indonesia, in 2019. In a small village, far removed from the tourist trails, I encountered a reality that was starkly different from my own. It was here, among children whose lives were marked by simplicity and struggle, that my life's purpose became clear. Engaging with these children, teaching them, and learning from their resilience and joy, I discovered a profound connection that transcended language and culture. This experience was a defining moment, revealing to me that my passion for travel and my commitment to education were not separate journeys, but a singular path leading towards a greater goal. I realized that my true calling was to be an international teacher, dedicated to fostering education and understanding across the world's diverse tapestry of cultures.
This revelation was more than a mere career decision; it was an awakening to the power of human connection, empathy, and knowledge. My travels have taught me that every place has its story, its lessons, and its intrinsic value to the collective human experience. As I continue my educational journey in America, I carry with me the invaluable lessons learned from every corner of the globe. My goal is not just to visit all the states in America and every country in the world, but to imbibe the essence of each culture, to connect with people from all walks of life, and to contribute positively wherever I go. In this way, travel remains the heartbeat of my existence, fueling my passion for discovery, learning, and ultimately, teaching in the global classroom that is our world.
